Collection and Use of Information
We collect personally identifiable information about you if, and when, you provide it to us (for example, by emailing our administrator through the link provided on the “Contact” tab of the Site) or when you make a donation or RSVP for an event. Personally identifiable information is information that directly identifies you, such as your name, address, telephone number, or email address. You may make an online donation to us through our website. These donations will be processed via third parties, namely Donorbox and Stripe. Please review the privacy policies of Donorbox and Stripe, which govern their collection of personally identifiable information from you at the time that you make a donation. These processors will share with us your personally identifiable information, as well as the amount of your donation, but not your credit card details.

We do not sell or rent any personally identifiable information we collect.
We will share personally identifiable information that we collect with the British Museum and GHS Philanthropy Management, the latter of which provides us with administrative and operational services; other service providers, including accountants, consultants and legal counsel; and as requested or required by law enforcement or other government officials or agencies. In the event of a sale, merger or consolidation or other transfer of all or substantially all of our assets, whether voluntarily or by operation of law, to a third party, we may transfer such information to such third party, provided that such third party agrees to protect the confidentiality of such information consistent with this Privacy Statement.

We use reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard the information we collect. Despite these measures, there is always a risk that this information may be accessed or used by unauthorized third persons. Your use of the Site, including when you provide us with your information, is entirely at your own risk.
